I love cookbooks and I will admit I may have a *slight* obsession with cookbooks… I love pouring over cookbooks, reading about the author and how he/she spent time to conceptualizing the theme of the book and then carefully tested and selected each of the recipes contained therein. I like to see the author’s personality in the book, and mostly I enjoy gazing at the food photos. I’m not exclusive about the cookbooks I purchase — as you can see from my collection listed below. When I travel, I always bring home a cookbook from that location so I can remember the flavors the region to recreate at home.
So here’s the list of cookbooks currently occupying space on my cookbooks-only bookcase, but I will likely be purging through them over the holidays because a number of them haven’t been used in years and (if you can imagine) I have quite an extensive ‘cookbook wish list’. 🙂
